Customizable Training, Advanced Training, and Behavior Modification Options
In addition to our standard training packages, we offer private customizable training packages for dogs whose needs just don't fit into a standard training package. Some needs that fit this description might be:

- resource guarding between dogs (no history of bite causing injury)

- fear-based reactivity and/or aggression toward strangers or other dogs (dogs must not have prior bite history causing injury).

Pet Therapy Prep Course
Animal Assisted Activities (AAA) and Animal Assisted Therapy (AAT)
The Pet Therapy Prep Course is a class that has gained much interest for families with dogs (or even cats!)
Animal Assisted Activities (AAA) and Animal Assisted Therapy (AAT) is a rewarding way to share the benefits of our pets with others. This class is designed to prepare the dog and his handler for work as a therapy dog. There are many types of therapy work a dog can do, and many people are interested in enhancing the lives of others who can’t have a pet in their lives due to assisted living, hospitalization, etc.
This class is a prep course designed to prepare handlers and their pets for testing through programs like the Delta Society's Pet Partners Program. All dogs who are enrolled in this class should have basic obedience skills. Rocky Mountain Dog Training does not certify nor does it guarantee that a dog will be certified, as each therapy facility has their own set of requirements.
