All groups are $165 / 6 weeks unless otherwise noted.
Two instructors are present in classes over 4 to assist. Classes cap at 6 participants. We chose this model of small class to trainer to ensure each participant receives one-on-one coaching time in each and every class.
Group classes are appropriate for dogs who are comfortable with other dogs and people.*

Beyond the Backyard (Level 2) All ages
This course is intended to build on the foundation skills acquired in level 1, gaining reliability during various distractions etc. Students are required to complete level 1 at Rocky Mountain Dog Training prior to attending this course. This is a 6-week course.
Leash Refinement & Recall Skills (Level 2 Specialty Course) All ages
Loose leash walking and recall can at times be more challenging to dogs than other behaviors, mostly due to difficulty with distractions and often lack of consistency. This course breaks these two topics down further to help you succeed as a team. This is a 4-week course and completion of our level 1 course is required prior to enrollment.
Clicks & Tricks All ages
Tricks are awesome! People love dogs who do tricks. Dogs love learning new behaviors. What could be better? Tricks help immensely with bonding and engagement between you and your dog and let's face it, they're downright adorable! This is a 4-week course. Clicker experience helpful but not required.
Urban Agility 1 year & up
This class pairs elements of both dog agility and human parkour and promotes growth of confidence, bonding, and exploration as you and your dog master various environmental obstacles. Safety is our priority. Your dog should be physically fit, free from injury and fully grown. This course will cover both safety and spotting as well as breaking common maneuvers down into easily attainable goals. Prerequisite: Completion of Level 1 Group Class at Rocky Mountain Dog Training.
We also offer testing for: AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy, Canine Good Citizen and Community Canine.
*Group class are intended specifically for skills-based behaviors. Examples are sit, down, stay, come, loose leash walking, drop it, leave it, and tricks.
Behavior problems are not addressed in group classes. The best way to think of behavioral problems is this: Is the dog upset? Are they scared, stressed, anxious, angry? If so, private training is the route you'll want to take.
That said, we get it, you're human! If a behavior problem shows up in class that you were unaware of, don't sweat it. We can either roll your remaining balance from group class to private training, or you are welcome to continue the group weekly without the dog as an observer and practice each week's skills at home.
Still unsure? Give us a call and we'll help you through the decision making process. To register, simply email us with the class start date, contact info and dog's name and age. We'll send you a registration email for the requested class.
