Hi, my name's Ozzy, but most people who know me call me Oz. I am a gorgeous chocolate American Pit Bull Terrier,I am looking for a family who can provide a loving and active home for me. I have been working on my manners, and I know Sit, Down, Stand, and Jump! I also have been working on my stays. I can down/stay for 20 seconds so far, even in moderate distraction, and I can sit/stay for 10 seconds, and I've only worked on my skills a couple of times! My trainer says I'm progressing quite quickly! I like to play fetch, and I am a very agile dog who would excel at Agility or other dog sports. I've never been before, but I'm pretty sure I'd love hiking or biking with you too! I have been at Adams County Animal Shelter for a really long time, but there's just no reason for it! I'm such a sweetheart!
Actually, I am the longest-term resident at the shelter right now. They're very sweet to me, but I really would love to have a family to call my own, and a very nice bed to curl up in. I've been getting some allergies at the shelter lately, the staff thinks it might be the cleaning agents that are used to keep my home spic and span. My skin is a little irritated, but I'm confident that with a good diet It would clear up just fine. I am over at Adams County Animal Shelter right now. My kennel is D40 and my ID is A071905. - 6ft fence
- No children under age of 5 (Oz likes to give gentle kisses on the nose. We just don't want him knocking a small child over.)
- Oz would walk best on an Easy Walk Harness. He walks well in low distractions, but can pull some when he gets excited.

I am an extremely fast learner, my basic obedience came to me in no time flat!
I am a happy-go-lucky dog with huge heart and loads of love to give. I am not a hyper dog by any means. A home that could provide moderate exercise for me would do just fine. Truth be told, I'd rather just be hanging out with you!
I really am an ideal dog. I'm not just saying that, it's what everyone tells me. Choose me! Choose me!
